My Teaching Techniques are as follows:
1. Start my day with a good mood. Having a good day matters a lot. It's nice to teach when you are in a happy mode. No matter what problems I'm encountering with, I must leave that problem outside my teaching schedule so as to teach well.
2.Warm greetings that truly comes from a heart, not only from my lips. It's always nice to be greeted warmly by anyone, and so I want to give it back to others too. Some people recognize if that greeting really comes from a heart or just coming from our lips. So, warm greetings from a heart will truly give students best way to learn and love the class.
3.Ask interesting and good questions from the students before starting a lesson to have a better communication. To start with an interesting and good questions, motivates students and that they may feel their worth and importance when at times their own family were not able to let them felt that worth and that's the start of a better communication.
4.Deliver the lesson with enthusiasm, dedication and practicality with much interests. In this way, students will really be focused, serious and have fun as well, for a better study atmosphere.
5. Appreciate. Know how to appreciate the improvement of the students will be the first step so that they will improve more because they know, there will always be person to appreciate them. And it's truly nice to be appreciated, I had a great time looking for a better improvement and I'm always inspired to do well just to prove it right.
6.Inculcate/Application in real life .I want to give not only in knowledge skills but an application in real life situation skills as well. As a teacher, it will always be the greatest consolation for us when we witness students walk in the right path, I mean not only in a successful and luxurious life, but a life leading to a right path, right decisions, and right ambitions.
Good day! I'm Charlene.
Why English is important?
English is important in our day to day life because we need to communicate every day. Yes, that's right we are comfortable with our own dialects but we need to go out of our comfort zones as well. Just like when we meet other people around the globe, we cannot use our own dialect; instead we need to use English as a medium for a better communication. English is very important especially when looking for a job, we hardly find a better job who use own dialects upon the job interview. That's why we need to learn English because that is our universal language.
Why do you want to be an English teacher?
From the very first place, I love my English teacher in my Elementary days and she's my inspiration to study well. I thought that will be the end of my admiration, but when I studied high school, I felt it once again! I really admired my entire English teachers starting from my first year to fourth year. And since I admired them, I really do my best to study the subjects to get high grades and do my best to participate as well. That's the reason why I want to be an English teacher, because I want my students to love English though it may be difficult, but with a helping hand, we can do this together. I want to help students bring out their best and "get out of their shell"-that is their comfort zones.
How to teach English efficiently?
As far as I remember, English teachers know many things and so I admired them. I never witnessed my teacher saying: “I don’t know!" every time we ask questions. I have realized lately, maybe it's because they love what they do. The first step is to love what we do; they love English so they always seek to know more. To be an efficient English teacher, I should know the best technique to get the attention of my students, know the language well, should not be boring, there must always be fun, and make sure that students really understand the lessons so that they can bring out the best of them.
